As the top of (our) this year's show season is approaching - EDS 2025 , we agreed with Petra Václavková to include a new element in the preparation of our dogs. Petra for our Hugo (Néreus Hare and Hounds) and her Jerry (Jeremi z Kunčiček) prepared an incredible fitness program in Zlín and its surroundings.
We started the whole training camp 🙂 on coursing training in Čechy pod Kosířem, where the boys ran after a tassel simulating a hare hunt. Both of them proved that they have it innate and passed both the first short course (200 m) and the full training course (700 m) without any problems, Hugo even got a training card entry (Jerry unfortunately does not meet the age limit for such an entry yet). We also met Jerry's dad King (King Weinlinie z Negraland) and his owner Lenka Frnčová, who showed us this great dog sport (King is already Champion of Silesia in coursing).
The following days both boys got a lot of exercise on demanding trips around Zlín, they had a great time on the dog playground and also trained obedience with Petra. On Friday we came to see them also with Freddy (Piccolino z Negraland) and together we worked on show skills.
